We recover animals in need, rehabilitate as naturally as possible, and adopt to the best homes. One of our primary goals is to educate the new adopters and the public through seminars, expos, school assemblies and field trips. We introduce and educate children in a fun way in the proper care and understanding of animals for we recognize that the children are the animal's future. Ultimately, Nature's Home intends to educate to such an extent that there is no longer a need for animal shelters and rescues. This would be accomplished though programs that cover the need to spay/neuter, the reality of puppy mills, natural lifestyles, and compassion and respect for all living things.

about nature's home adoption
We are a group of volunteers that loves all of our animals and goes out to visit each and every adopters home/barn in their best interest. We fit each family with the correct animal for them and their lifestyle and talk with them about the best food and supplements to keep the animal healthy for life.

The volunteers in our organization have many years of rescuing and most have been saving animals all of their adult lives. We are very experienced in almost all animals and will always be available for any questions you may have. We will return calls in a very timely manner.

All of our animals are in foster homes so we are sure of their personalities. We know which is the very best home for each and every one we have. Most every dog needs a fenced yard and all of our horses must have pasture time during the day. Our cats have all of their claws and in their best interest they may NOT be removed.

adopting a friend
All of our animals are raised in a home environment. At present all of our animals are dog, cat and horse friendly. Our dogs and cats are in foster homes and our horses are on a farm in pastures running free and happy with the herd. Appointments are always necessary for a meeting with any of them since they are in private homes.

Nature's Home would like families to continue our philosophy. We are looking for families for our animals that will continue to treat them holistically and feed organic food and supplements. We have discounted food available for purchase. We will be happy to explain our procedures to you, and hope to be your continuing resource for holistic and organic treatments.
